GOPA-Cartermill spreading the word on gender equality
GOPA-Cartermill has been awarded a contract to manage communications for a new network on gender equality.
Equality between women and men is a fundamental principle for the EU. Nevertheless, inequality still very much persists at the workplace, at home, and in prevailing stereotypes. Tackling this inequality is a major priority for the European Commission and Member States. One of their agreed approaches is to learn from different ways of fostering gender equality in different European countries.
This new project sets up a Europe-wide network of experts on gender equality, and activities to share experiences and practice on the topic.
Successful exchange of experience requires clear communication. GOPA-Cartermill brings to the project its expertise in event organisation and network communication, as well as its editorial skills. We will be producing newsletters and organising seminars to share good practice, and maintaining the network’s contact database. We are working together with the Focus Consultancy. Their expertise in gender diversity will develop and steer the content for the project.
